User permissions & access rights
With our different user roles, we allow you to control who can see and do certain things on Zavvy.
π You can manage all roles on the βDataβ-page.
There are two main roles: Admins & learners
π€± Admin: have full access to all settings and functionalities on Zavvy. To make someone an admin go to Data > Find the user > Scroll right to βRoleβ and select βAdminβ in the dropdown.
πΆ Learners: are all invited users that have no specific user rights.
Managers & buddies
Additionally to being an admin OR a learner, one can be also a manager and/or a buddy.
Imagine, you in the people team are an admin, however, you still manage a team and youβre the onboarding buddy for a new hire. Thatβs possible.
Managers and buddies have some additional rights.
π©βπ§βπ¦ Managers: can see a βMy Teamβ page where they can see all activities of their team members on Zavvy. You can assign manager roles manually on the βDataβ page or by integrating your HRIS.
π―ββοΈ Buddies: can see the progress of their buddies on journeys where they are receiving steps as buddies. You can assign buddy roles manually on the βDataβ page.
