Changing managers manually when an HRIS is connected

This guide explains the process of updating a manager's details when an HRIS is linked to an employee profile.

1. If you manually assign a manager to an employee, this assignment will override any manager information provided by the HRIS API.
2. The manual manager assignment won't sync with the HRIS unless the manager information in the HRIS matches the manually assigned manager.
3. Once the manager details in the HRIS and the manual assignment align, the connection will synchronize. This means that any future updates to the manager's information in the HRIS will reflect in Zavvy as well.
